I have undertaken projects in Haiti, Azerbaijan, Russia, Mexico, Peru, and here in the U.S. My photographs have appeared in Time, Newsweek, the New York Times, the Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, der Spiegel, the International Herald Tribune, the Financial Times, and a number of other outlets. Yup, corner of Broadway and W 20th. Wish I had more time to work it but had to run to a meeting.
I think you can interpret this two ways. You can assume that there is a silent "The" that's not seen in the picture and conclude that someone is pissed about the sad state of affairs. Or, as I would like to hope, someone is bashing thriftiness and supporting an all-out spending spree.
