I'll be in Charlottesville, Virginia from Thursday through Sunday this week for the Festival of the Photograph, also known as Look3. Below, Katie Couric gets the 2008 Alice Award.

This was a bit of a tough assignment, mainly because it involved people on a hunger strike, i.e. not doing anything, with bad light (middle of the day, sitting under a tree). I'm pleased with how it ran, though. Read the article here.
